monrose performs song co-produced by j. worthy and marc mozart in front of 9.000 at the dome
As a preview to their forthcoming album "Temptation", German Girlband MONROSE performed the Mozart & Friends co-produced song "Two of a Kind" on Europe's biggest Live Pop-Event THE DOME on German TV Channel RTL2.
The song was written by Gary Barlow (of Take That) and co-produced by Mozart & Friends together with POPSTARS TV-series judge Dieter Falk.
Anybody curious to hear why that song has such a tight drumbeat?
Here's some backround information from Marc Mozart: "The song was already produced when the labels' A&R person offered us to work on a remix of the song. J'son came up with a really cool drumbeat and that roaring electro-synth. The original producer of the song (popstars-judge Dieter Falk) heard our version and he and the label's A&R guy Nik Hafemann liked it so much that Dieter decided to use our remix tracks on the album version, so J. Worthy and I ended up being co-producers on the track. We're thrilled by that opportunity, cause we feel that these girls are gonna go through the roof. We've been working on a total of three tracks for them."
